This video makes for interesting rumors and guesses as what the next version of the Mac Studio computer will be like. I try to hold on to a computer model a number of years and ignore the later versions of that model to get decent use out of it until I believe it is time to replace the computer with a newer model. I recently bought an M1 Max Mac Studio computer. It is very likely that I will still be using it in 2027.

The M1 "Ultra" was a total failure in terms of expected performance VS what it REALLY did ………. it why the Mac Pro never came out this year……. they had to re-engineer it so the power actually scales up…..
I think these devices will be based on the M3 / 3nm. I think at a certain point they gave up coming out with M2 pro devices and go back and fix a fundamental issue that is hampering the scaling up of the M1 processor that limites the 32+ core GPUs.
