A person who has never bought any apple products and has basic usage should they buy an I pad or MacBook pro and which one. MacBook pro 14 inch or 16 inch and which chip m3 pro or m3 max and will you recommend to wait for iPhone 16 and will you recommend iPad air or I pad pro.
Just remember Apple invented OLED screens!😊
Apple is the biggest example of how greedy scoundrel and stupid a company can be for cut throat prices of their products, perfectly disabling the support of older Apple pencils for the new iPads so that people who already spent an absurd amount of money on older pencils have to spend even more money on the new pencils just so they can get the so called Apple experience 🖕🖕🖕🖕🖕
The biggest problem of iPad is iPadOS not the hardware. Imagine how wonderful if M4 iPad can running macOS.
I don't mind these new iPads but the stock wallpaper (which will also be their box art) are a total eyesore, especially that black background with the raised swirl on the iPad Pro. The art really feels like an afterthought unfortunately
Next year they will use cern as the processor, 512k of ram, .01 mm thickness and charge $72.6m unless you want the optional 30 layer OLED Mini-lED LCD 1 hrtz refresh screen using matte technology with an actual pencil and thats $1.2 trillion more……unless you want the ultra-mega-pro bezos edition..😑💰
i'm very tempted to trade in my current ipad air for the 13-inch ipad air, but i just don't want to buy another pencil pro (i believe the current apple pencil can't be used in the new ipad air?)
My M1 Air is on the way out and I’m curious if I can replace it with the M4 Pro. I guess I’ll have more of an answer after WWDC
I have finally decided to get an 11-inch iPad Air with 1TB of storage. Previously, I planned on getting an iPad Pro because only the iPad Pro models then had more than 256 GB of memory.
My current iPad Pro is an 8-year-old 10.5 inch with 256 GB of memory so the model I plan to get has three improvements:
1) faster chip
2) bigger display
3) four times the memory
Of course, if money were no object, I would get the new iPad Pro but with limited financial resources the one I chose represents the best value for money that suits my needs.
Of course, the marginal increase in performance with the M4 iPad Pro is substantial, but to me simply doesn’t justify the marginal increase in price after doing a cost benefit analysis. The marginal gain in utility for what I mostly use my iPad for — editing videos using iMovies — doesn’t justify the marginal cost.
As a matter of fact, to keep costs down, I’m not getting the cellular feature not the pencil nor keyboard.

New iPad Pro cons
▫️Apple removed the 2nd rear camera
🔸Apple removed 1 studio microphone
🔹Apple Pencil 2 won’t work with it
🔻Existing Magic Keyboard won’t work with it
🔺The M4 chip in the 256 and 512 GB models is a binned one with lower GPU and performance cores than getting an 1T or 2T model which has the fully unlocked M4 chip.
What about display refresh rate?
Should I get an ipad 10 or ipad air with M2 ?
I just want to use it as a second monitor for my mac. Ipad 10 is cheaper by 20k but I’m worried about how long it will be supported.

i want to see a battery test between the old pro's and the new pro's or at least, a comparison between the 11" and 13".
edit: also minimum brightness, lots of this new panel tech tests (tandem oled), and a deep dive into this new pen because it might be what makes people want an M2 Air or M4 Pro. I think the display stuff with like contrast, min/max brightness, etc. will push people over to the Pro but I'd really love to see it all tested.

0:16 It is really genius that Apple made those tablet variants with those ideal size for excellent viewing. For example, the 11" replaces the 10" and the 13" is a new entry into the line up and they are both perfect sizes. 😎💯💪🏿👍🏿 I like how Apple trim down the bezel which make the screen look modern. Thinner bezels look more aesthetically pleasing to the eyes.
Tip: get $12 antiglare screen film.
10 years later still waiting for those iPad OS updates to make it usable

Did anybody else notice that this one got rid of one whole camera that was on the last generation. As well as a quality microphone as they call it, the new one comes with four the old one came with five.

You want the 16gb of ram so that you can run the constant os updates they do each year. If I had it my way I’d stay at the original os and on get security updates. tech reviewers can choose the latest thing I don’t care I don’t need the extra features. I would stay at the same is and have a smooth seamless experience and not have to worry about the os using up all the ram.

I'm still using my pro from 2018 and it still kicks azz. Don't plan to upgrade unless it brakes. Why spend more when mine does everything i need it to do. For those buying the new one, enjoy 👍
I will be waiting for the next IPad Mini or the IPad 11th Gen and sticking to my old Mini. Ipad gens now are very powerful beating windows laptops in my opinion
