everytime i record on obs it is black screen
It’s not working for some reason I have the encoder to software x264 as hardware McEnroe was not working but whenever I add display capture it’s just grey nothing shows up someone pls help me

Hi Kevin, I have followed all instructions on a new ASUS Gaming laptop with Windows 10. Still black screen when trying to record desktop. I was using my old Dell Windows 10 with no problem, but the Dell is 3 years old and dying. Please help.

It did not resolve. Sometimes it displays black screen and sometimes it works. My usual work around is to switch Scene Selection if black screen is displayed
So if both power saving & high performance have the NVIDIA as the option what should we do?
