Having to be in the same room is a big turn off. Using parsec or moonlight is good enough for me.

If you're tethered to the room of the console…. what's the point?!

i prefer steam deck, the streaming from pc or ps5 is fine with moonlight or ps remote. and you can play all over your house and off course in the roads

Still need a console to operate. Too expensive for a streaming device. If you don't have a console then this unit is pretty much useless.

I remember studying mmwave at uni, the idea was that eventually it was to replace hdmi, usb and WiFi for all devices inside a room. The fact it dosn't penetrate walls was a feature so that the 60GHz frequency band never got saturated from neighbours and a house could have a tiny mmap in the main rooms with them all fed back to a central switch over cheap optical fibre. It never really took off (7 years ago now) but its amazing to see this killer app and at the very least high end projectors and will have mmwave transmitters built in someday soon as it becomes a real standard.

Heat? and some reviews mention it needs to be directly in line of sight for the HDMI to catch the signal, if you lay in bed and its facing downwards you loose the signal as the sensor is on the back. Is that the case

It's about time Sony makes another handheld. I loved the psp when I was a little kid, and later the ps vita.
